Advocating for change
We work to improve life for everyone affected by leukaemia, MDS and MPN. This means speaking up about the issues people face and pushing for change where it’s needed.
Our advocacy work is shaped by real experiences. We listen to patients, families and carers, and use their voices to highlight problems and influence decision-makers.
Why advocacy matters
People affected by leukaemia can face delays, gaps in care and barriers to support. These issues can have a real impact on health, wellbeing and quality of life.
By advocating for change, we work to make sure these issues are seen, understood and addressed.
How we advocate
We advocate by:
- Raising concerns with healthcare services and decision-makers
- Sharing evidence based on lived experience
- Working with partners to improve policy and practice
Our goal is simple: better care, better support, and fair access for everyone.
