Take on the Camino de Santiago Trek

Join #TeamLC on a classic Camino de Santiago experience and trek the final 67km of the famous Camino Francés (French Way). This unforgettable challenge combines beautiful scenery, rich history and a powerful sense of achievement as you follow one of the world’s most well-known pilgrimage routes.

Over three days of trekking, you’ll journey through rolling green landscapes, traditional villages and peaceful woodlands, sharing the path with pilgrims from around the world.

The experience

Today, the Camino is much more than a pilgrimage. It is a unique personal journey that offers time for reflection, connection and discovery. Along the route, you’ll experience local traditions, meet fellow walkers, and soak up the atmosphere of rural Spain.

Your challenge finishes in the magical Santiago Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the stunning Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela — a truly memorable end to the journey.

The itinerary

This is a 5-day challenge, including travel.

Highlights include:

  • Starting the trek in Palas de Rei
  • Passing through charming villages such as Casanova, Leboreiro, and Ribadiso
  • Reaching Arzúa, famous for its local cheese
  • Trekking through forests, streams and quiet country roads
  • Catching your first glimpse of Santiago from Monte do Gozo
  • Celebrating your achievement in Santiago de Compostela
