In celebration

Life milestones and health achievements are worth celebrating. Many people choose to use them to give back following support by Leukaemia Care. Whether for yourself or someone you know, special occasions can be a way of marking this. You could ask for donations instead of gifts at your birthday, wedding or anniversary. It's a great way to help us support people affected by leukaemia, MDS and MPN.

Ways to fundraise in celebration

Birthdays

Ask for donations instead of presents. It’s a simple way to make your day even more meaningful.

Set up an online fundraising page or a Facebook fundraiser. Share the link with family and friends and send it out with your party or meal invitations. Say you'd prefer a kind donation to Leukaemia Care instead of a gift.

Re-birthdays

After a stem cell or bone marrow transplant, many choose to mark the anniversary of their ‘re-birth’ - a proud health achievement.

Weddings and anniversaries

Share your love and joy with family and friends. Invite them to give donations instead of traditional gifts or wedding favours. We can provide table favour cards or donation envelopes for your guests. Or we can help you create an online giving page or donation QR code to share with your invitations.

Other milestones

From retirements and christenings to naming ceremonies or graduations - turn any occasion into a way to make a difference.
