Fundraising in memory is a powerful way to celebrate the life of someone you love. By choosing to raise money in their name, you’ll support more families affected by leukaemia, MDS and MPN.
Remembering someone special
We also know that grief often comes in waves and can sometimes be overwhelming. Our Bereavement Service is here to provide emotional support whenever you need it.
Tribute pages with MuchLoved
We partner with MuchLoved, a trusted tribute platform, so you can create a lasting online space for your loved one. On your tribute page you can:
- Share photos, videos and stories that capture their life
- Invite friends and family to leave messages or light candles
- Collect donations safely and securely in one place
- Keep everything together as a legacy you can return to at any time
Our team can guide you through setting up your page step by step.
Funeral and memorial collections
Many families choose to ask for donations instead of funeral flowers. We can help by providing:
- Collection envelopes (with Gift Aid options)
- Information for your funeral director so everything runs smoothly
- Support with setting up an online collection page for those unable to attend
We’ll also keep you updated with the total raised, so you know the difference your loved one has made.
Gifts and anniversaries
You may wish to make a gift in their memory on special dates such as birthdays or anniversaries. Some families choose to set up a regular gift as an ongoing tribute.
Events in memory
Bringing people together to celebrate your loved one’s life can be very special. Families often choose to organise:
- Coffee mornings, quizzes or bake sales
- Sponsored walks, runs or cycles in their honour
- Community events such as concerts, balls or golf days
We’ll provide fundraising packs, resources and ideas to help you honour your special person.
