Philanthropy and major gifts

Philanthropic gifts to Leukaemia Care can turn lives around. They directly fund and help to sustain our essential services. A substantial donation maximises impact. It can give more time, more care and more hope to people affected by leukaemia, MDS and MPN.

Why your gift matters

Significant personal donations can be hugely important. They allow us to plan and fund sustainable services. They ensure we can be confident in continuing to reach those who need us.

Large donations can strengthen or expand existing services or launch new projects. This provides vital, practical, financial and emotional support to patients and their families.

What you can expect

We know that making a significant gift is a big decision. That's why your first conversation will always be with a senior, experienced member of our team.

They can give you the information you need about our charity and our work. They will also take the time to understand what matters to you and how you would like to help.

We will:

  • Give you clear information about how your gift is used
  • Provide regular updates and impact reports
  • Offer personalised opportunities to connect with the work you are making possible
  • Ensure senior oversight of your support from start to finish

How to give

Some philanthropic donors choose to make a one-off gift. Others prefer to pledge support over several years.

Gifts can be made personally, through a trust, or through a family foundation. We can also talk to you about legacy giving by leaving a gift in your Will.
